Edie DePhillips
VP, Meeting & Convention Planning Manager
Edie joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in 2000. She is a Des Moines, Iowa native and graduate of Miami University, Ohio. Edie has been in the events industry since 1995. Her experience comes from working in Chicago with a small event firm with Fortune 500 clients, owning her own event planning business for 4 years and from marketing and public relations consulting. In her past time Edie is an avid cyclist and enjoys spending time with family and friends especially on their boat in the summer.

Monica Hearn
Meeting & Convention Planning Coordinator
Monica joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in January 1998. She is a native Iowan who now lives in Colorado. Monica received her BS in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University in 1995. Go Cyclones! Monica got her start in event planning while working for the State of Iowa's Department of Economic Development. In her spare time, Monica enjoys playing Texas Hold 'Em and traveling.

Kim Robinson
Meeting & Convention Planning Coordinator
Kim joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in 1995. In July of 2005 she earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation after years of experience and study. Kim is an active member of Meeting Planners International. Born in Minnesota, Kim spent nearly all her life in Des Moines before recently moving to Denver in late 2006. Before joining Wells Fargo, Kim worked for an abstracting firm from home while raising a family. In her leisure time Kim enjoys music, travel, golf and spending time with family and friends.

Kim Owen

Kim joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in 1994 and has been in the Meeting & Convention Planning team for since 1997. Her attention to detail, financial savvy and database knowledge is a must with her responsibility in working on the Sales Conference qualifier tracking. Kim enjoys spending time with her family, cross-stitching and sitting down with a good book.

Michelle Derwin

Michelle joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the fall of 2003. A native Iowan, she graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Marketing. Michelle has been in the hospitality industry since 1990. Most recently, she was a program manager for ITAGroup, Inc. Michelle and her husband have a son, which keeps them busy. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. Michelle also enjoys watching all kinds of sports, shopping and horseback riding.

Kathleen Gunderson
Meeting & Convention Planning Coordinator
Kathleen joined the team in September of 2003 with nearly ten years at ITA Group as Lead Travel Director. She worked with Fortune 500 companies including Norwest and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, planning, coordinating, and operating group travel for 20 to 2,000 attendees. She has extensive experience working with hotels, destination management companies, and production companies including special events and entertainment.
Married to a family-diversified farmer, Kathleen and Chuck are raising their three children in a small community and all appreciate the benefits of rural living. They both enjoy golf and share the duties of supporting and chauffeuring their children to their many activities. Kathleen also finds time in her busy life to scrapbook, travel, and volunteer at the children’s school, within her community, and in her parish

Marie Callas
Meeting & Convention Planning Coordinator
Marie joined the Meetings and Convention Team of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in April of 2004. Marie is an Iowa native and a graduate of the University Iowa. Prior to joining the team, Marie was employed by the Iowa Association of REALTORS for 17 years where she began her career as the Research Associate/Lobbyist, than moved to the newly created Director of Communications/Meeting Planner position and the final 10 years as Director of Education in charge of the Association’s real estate school. Marie is an avid sports fan with baseball being her passion. Free time is spent following the St. Louis Cardinals and with family and friends.

Joe Mahoney
Meeting & Convention Planning Coordinator
Joe Mahoney joined the Wells Fargo Home Mortgage team in May 2005.
He enjoyed a 13-year career in television news. Eight of those years were spent as Assignment Manager at WHO-TV in Des Moines, where he directed the daily newsgathering efforts of a four-time Emmy Award winning staff.
As Marketing & Communications Coordinator for the Multi-State Lottery Association, Joe produced two game shows: Powerball - The Game Show and Powerball Instant Millionaire. The weekly game shows were produced in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. In four years, Joe taped 208 episodes and gave away nearly $34 million in prizes.
Joe is a graduate of Iowa State University, a self-proclaimed Star Wars geek, and a long-suffering Philadelphia Eagles fan. Most of all, Joe is a husband and a father.
